Everest Base Camp Luxury Trek

15 Days

Trek to Everest Base Camp staying at Luxury Mountain Resorts and a Helicopter ride back after Base Camp!

A trek to Everest Base Camp is a dream for almost all the people who love adventure walks. This historic trail that Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay set off on in 1953 expedition to Mt. Everest is the most sought-after trekking journey in the world.
Many people have the desire to experience this journey to see the highest mountain in the world but are often hesitant because of the thought of having to stay in basic lodges. Of course, even though you can manage the challenging trek, it is always nice to end your day and relax in a comfortable accommodation. The notion of Everest trek having only basic accommodation with having to share toilets with another couple of dozens of trekkers and serious lack of hygiene is only far from truth. Today we have few reasonably luxurious resorts in the Everest region which cater the needs of people who prefer a comfortable journey even though the trek itself is challenging. These resorts have clean and comfortable rooms with attached toilet and hot shower, heated beds and hygienic food in a clean, warm and cozy dining hall.

Overview

Why is our Everest Base Camp Luxury trek different than others?

In the last 2 camps (Lobuche and Gorakhshep), there are no luxury lodges. Actually there are only a few lodges which are basic and over crowded with two to three toilets in the entire lodge for 40 to 50 odd trekkers. All the outfits who sell Everest Base Camp Luxury trip provides one of these regular lodges in Lobuche and Gorakhshep justifying it as being an experience to stay at local lodges. In reality, here is where the luxury option should matter the most, otherwise it just doesn’t make sense. Here is where people can experience high altitude sickness and often comes across other trekkers who have had food related stomach problem, and here is where you wouldn’t like to share toilet with 40 odd trekkers. Hi On Life provides an alternative experience- a luxury camping experience! Make no mistake- our luxury camping is far from being an ordinary camping trek. We provide double insulated cottage tents with attached toilet facilities. Our dining tent is also double insulated with heaters and comfortable tables and chairs.
