In Nepal, “Trekking Peak” is a term applied by the Nepalese authorities to peaks under 6,500 m, which has easy access and does not need the logistics of a major expedition.
The label (trekking peak) is often misinterpreted as “easy” climbing requiring no technical climb. However, their technical difficulties and objective dangers vary enormously and should not be taken lightly as they offer a good challenge to any amateur climbers.
